Every generation of people is a guinea pig in some way for whatever the last one decided to invent and/or f*ck up. In the case of most of us visiting this website, the great experiment that we have been going through is the internet. While there is no doubt whatsoever that it has revolutionized how we all live, this hasn't always been in a good way. For example, at some point many of us have seen things that we really could have done without. On top of this, we can't seem to stop coming back to it despite everything that suggests that maybe spending all of our time online isn't the greatest idea for our mental and physical health. Nevertheless, there are plenty of good reasons for this, including the fact that it's where we get our memes. To be honest, at this point most of us wouldn't know how to make a joke if we hadn't read it on the internet first.
